There are many ways you can support children in their Drive 2 Fitness
as an organization or as an individual, and become a recognized part of
the D2F team in your area. Below are just a few of those ways:
- Donate in-kind Rewards
for your areas Drive 2 Fitness. We strive to reward D2F participants,
including children, parents, teachers, mentors and school leaders for
achieving certain goals in their own Drive 2 Fitness, and for
effectively supporting others in their efforts. Rewards should in some
way promote the same values of the program itself, by helping
participants to Be Active, Eat Smart and Sleep Well in fun ways.
- Donate money
for the purchase of a reward or D2F enabler (i.e. jump ropes, water
bottles, D2F posters, Fitness Forward Wellness Target posters), with or
without your branding. You can also make a general donation to the
support the Drive 2 Fitness nationally.
Sponsor a School as part of the D2F Tournament.
School sponsorship can also include raising additional funds for the
purchase of Physical Education supplies, Health Class tools,
Recreational facilities or Healthy Lunchroom materials or foods. Tools
will soon be available to allow employees of school sponsors to help
their organization compete against other organizations, to see who can
best support their school’s Drive 2 Fitness through fundraising and
volunteerism, on the road to the D2F Tournament Championship.
Become a Hall of Fame Sponsor. You can apply to be selected as a top
state or national sponsor for the Drive 2 Fitness, helping to support
its Public Service Announcements, creation of new tools and facilitate
its expansion to new communities.
